Overview
CarePortal has added a few very important questions to our request process so that data can be used to conduct longitudinal studies and improve CarePortal. No case-specific data is share publicly. Only aggregate data is used. All agency-specific data is available to Agency Administrators for internal review.
If an Agency has a policy that would prevent caseworkers from answering these questions, the Agency can opt-out and these questions will not be shown to any caseworker.

Agency Settings
Agency Admins are able to adjust their agency settings in the CarePortal dashboard (shown below).
Case ID Question
Collecting the internal agency identifier allows for specific requests in CarePortal to be matched up with specific cases in future studies. This creates the opportunity to validate outcomes.

- If the caseworker answers "Too soon to know or can't know" to the above question, a follow-up email will be sent 45 days later to see if there has been an update that would allow the caseworker to provide a "Yes" or "No" answer to this question.

Do we have additional outcome questions for schools? I don't see those listed in this article...
Hey Sarah, thanks for your comment! I just updated this article to clarify it a little bit -- in that bottom section, if a purpose statement is not listed, that means it does not have any additional outcome questions. So, to answer your question, school purpose statements do not have any additional outcome questions. Let us know if we can help with anything else!
