This article contains updates released 2/1/24 - 2/29/24.
Overview
Last month, we brought you a big and exciting new update to CarePortal! This month, we’ve been ironing out some of the kinks we discovered as a result of an update that big. We want to take a moment to thank you, our users, for taking the time to let us know of some places where things just weren’t working quite right. Keep reading to see some of the improvements we’ve made this month.
Church Leader Role Management
Affected roles: Churches & Network Leaders
Have you ever attempted to add or remove Church Leader roles from Church Settings, only to find that nothing happened? Not even a helpful error message to indicate the action didn't go through? Don't worry! We've addressed this issue. Now, adding or removing a Church Leader works just as it should – no more mysterious voids or silent errors.
Ability to Add or Remove Team Leader Roles in Church Settings
Affected roles: Churches & Network Leaders
Remember when a Primary Point Person could easily add or remove Team Leaders and their roles from Church Settings? Then suddenly, after the release, you had to click into each team individually, digging through team settings to add a leader. We understand the frustration – it was indeed a hassle, especially if you're managing multiple teams. We listened to your feedback loud and clear and have brought back the simplicity you know and love. Now, you can manage all those roles right from the 'Leaders' tab in Church Settings. Smooth sailing ahead!
Efficient Ambassador Assignment
Affected roles: Network Leaders
Once upon a time, you could efficiently assign or remove ambassadors from multiple churches at once. However, this feature disappeared in our recent update. We've listened to your feedback and reinstated it. Now, on the Ambassadors tab, simply click the three dots next to the ambassador's churches, and you'll find the 'Manage Churches' button, making ambassador assignment easy once again.
