This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to reset your password if you are unable to login to CarePortal.

Prerequisites
An existing CarePortal account is required in order to reset your password.
Resetting Your Password
To access the "Reset My Password" screen, follow the steps below:
- Click "I forgot my password" from the login screen.
- Enter the email address associated with your CarePortal account and click "Send Password Reset Link." If you receive the "We can't find a user with the e-mail address." error, please submit a ticket to CarePortal support & include the organization that you are associated with & the role that you should have.
- After you have entered your email address, you will receive an email with a link to reset your password.
- Click the link, enter the email address associated with your account & the password that you wish to use. If you receive an invalid token message, you will need to generate a new reset password link. Generating a new link causes the previous one to expire. Password reset links are valid for 24 hours.
