💬 Users Can Now Reply to Their Own Questions
Users who post a question in the Activity Feed can now reply to their own post. Previously, only Network Leaders and Agency users could respond. This update helps reduce duplicate posts and supports deeper, ongoing conversations directly in the thread.
📱Browse Requests in the App — No Login Required
Just like on the web app, users can now explore open requests in the CarePortal App without logging in. You’ll only be asked to log in when taking an action like responding to a request. It’s now easier than ever to share the app and engage new responders.
🎉 Celebration Emails Are Back (and Better!)
Celebration and Milestone emails are working again and now feature our new, streamlined template. It’s a fresh look that better reflects the heart of the Care-Sharing movement.
🛠 Network Leaders Can Now Modify Any Provided Response
On the Request Management page, leaders can now edit all provided response commitments — whether from churches or community responders. This empowers you to reopen needs if something falls through and continue coordinating care effectively.
🗺 Map View Now Sorts by Newest Requests
In Map View, users can now sort open requests by Newest or Closest. By default, you’ll see the most recently reviewed requests first, helping you identify the most time-sensitive opportunities.
🔐 Personal Info Protection Just Got Smarter
We’ve introduced an in-system safeguard that detects potential personally identifiable information (PII) in comments, questions, and prayers. If flagged, users will see a preview of their message with sensitive data starred out and can choose to post anyway or edit their post.
👀 Network Leaders Can Now View from Their Churches' Perspectives
Network Leaders will now remain in soft impersonation mode when they click Browse Open Requests. This means you can truly see what your churches see, making coaching, training, and support more effective than ever.
