Keeping your contact information up to date is essential for staying connected and engaged within your Care-Sharing network. If youโve changed your email address or need to correct a mistake, most users can make this update directly from their Manage Profile page in the CarePortal platform.
โ ๏ธ Note: Due to heightened security protocols, Agency Users are not able to update their own email addresses. See the special instructions below.

For Most Users: How to Change Your Email Address
If you're a Church Leader, Responder, Network Leader, or hold another non-agency role in CarePortal, you can update your email address quickly by following these steps:

Log in to your CarePortal account.

Navigate to your Manage My Profile page by clicking on your name in the top right corner.

Click the Edit Profile button.

Enter your new email address in the Email Address field.

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
A confirmation message will let you know that your update was successful.

For Agency Users: Contact Us for Help
To maintain system integrity and data security, Agency Users cannot update their own email address directly. If you are an agency-based caseworker, supervisor, or administrator, please contact us for assistance.
Hereโs how to request an update:

Email our Support Team at support@careportal.org

Include the following:

Your current email address

The new email address you'd like to use

Your full name and agency name for verification

Our Development Team will take it from there and confirm once the change is complete.
