This month, we focused on refining the request closure experience, simplifying the CarePortal Card setup, and boosting overall performance behind the scenes. Each update is designed to help you move faster, connect better, and make a more meaningful impact, with less friction. Let’s take a look!
📝 Smarter Request Closure, Clearer Impact
The updated request closure flow now walks you through two quick steps to reflect what was met, who helped, and what may still be needed in the future for the family. This update also introduces new optional questions to capture satisfaction and relational insights, giving your team access to richer data about meaningful connections and overall impact.
By providing this additional context, we’re helping users like caseworkers and Church Leaders close requests with clarity while supporting more informed reporting across the network.
💳 New Request a CarePortal Card Process
Church Leaders can now request their own CarePortal Cards directly from the Church Settings page. This ensures each cardholder personally agrees to the Cardholder Terms and enters accurate shipping and billing information.
We also streamlined the Card Activation Form, making it easier than ever to navigate the setup process.
📣 New: Share Your Contact Info with Your Team
Team Leaders can now easily share their contact details with their Response Teams through the Engage My Team feature. This simple update helps promote faster communication and deeper collaboration between churches and volunteers, especially when a new request is posted.
🛠️ Under-the-Hood Improvements for a Smoother Experience
We’ve made significant infrastructure upgrades to improve platform performance across the board. Most notably, Browse Open Requests is now faster and more responsive, creating a smoother experience for users at every level.
If you have questions or feedback about these updates, please reach out to your CarePortal contact or send us a message directly through the platform. We’re honored to support your work and are always working to make Care-Sharing as impactful and accessible as possible. 🧡
