Our hope is that churches prioritize their obedience to God and ensure they strive to build healthy relationships by being the best reflection of Christ as possible. Being mindful of how a church responder presents and valuing the family's authority and autonomy, helps to increase the occurrence and success of long-term relationships. This document is an additional resource that encourages your response team to explore one's motives, fears, and anxieties about going deeper into relationship with the families served.
These videos will provide some thought and guidance as you seek to not only serve families, but to protect a family's dignity as you serve. Remember- it not only matters that we do this, it also matters how we do this!
