Data Tracking Only
At times, the requesting agent will already have a provider lined up before posting a need. Last year, my team responded to 3 needs that had already been "met" but there was no indication of that in the agent request. This agent had been instructed by a Care Portal Leader to post pre-met needs for the sake of data tracking. My team didn't know the needs were already met. We began to organize and take up offerings around church to meet the needs. A few days later, I received an email that the needs had already been met. I had to explain all this to my pastor and give everyone their money back.
In cases like this, there should be a feature for the posting agent to indicate that the "need is already met" and the post is for "data tracking" only. This way, dedicated responders like us are not being confused or mislead.
